Brief history
M. Kanatsiopoulos NEWPLAN S.A. company started back in 1975 as a sole proprietorship focused on importing and delivering WPC Decks, carpets and rugs. From 1993 the company was transferred to privately owned facilities acquiring 2000 m2 space in the industrial area of Kavalariou, Lagadas in Thessaloniki. In 2004 due to the increased development it was expanded and acquiring a total storage of 4000 m2. Today, after 30 years of operation NEWPLAN S.A. employees 25 full-time employees, Mr. Michalis Kanatsiopoulos remains the chairman of the board and the company expands it’s stuff with a new generation along the way, heading at a successful course.
Customers – Products
The main area of importing goods for NEWPLAN S.A. is flooring items such as carpets, rugs, wallpapers, laminate floors & pre-varnished parquet, and vinyl floors of special specifications. NEWPLAN S.A. operates exclusively on a B2B wholesale bases with a huge network of local stores (1500 associates) to supply consumers and a wide variety of construction and development companies for projects in Greece. This way, NEWPLAN S.A. remains a market leader in Northern Greece and an important market-share holder in the of Greece.
